If seafood bags, fried baskets, and Snow Crab legs is your kind of dining out scene then you’re going to love Crazy Crab, the newest restaurant to open at the Fountains of Farah.

The Michigan-based chain has brought its menu options to our little corner of the desert opening its first location outside of the Great Lakes State at the open-air mall across from Cielo Vista Mall.

With indoor and outdoor dining and a nautical-theme throughout, Crazy Crab brings something to the Fountains dining options that was lacking: a straight up seafood restaurant.

Located between Chuy’s and Grimaldi’s in the former Bricktown Tap House & Kitchen building, the seafood restaurant with a Cajun twist specializes in clams, mussels, and shrimp served various ways. Crab legs are also very prominent on the menu, which you'd expect what with 'crab' being part of its name.

Far East Location Coming

The Fountains at Farah location is the first of two in El Paso. Records show another Crazy Crab will be sideways walking in the Town East shopping center at 1188 N. Yarbrough Suite F, where the Honk Kong Buffet used to be sooner than later.

And it looks like the Michigan owners are all in on both El Paso and the Fountains. City records show they also plan to open the first Kung Fu Tea in EP at the Fountains at Farah.

OG Bubble Tea Chain Also Coming to Fountains

Kung Fu Tea is a national bubble tea chain -- one of the OGs of boba tea, actually. With 250 locations across the U.S. and counting, they're kind of like the Starbucks of bubble tea chains. Among the many teas and drinks offered is Kung Fu Milk Tea, their signature beverage. The El Paso Kung Fu Tea will be located next to Hanna Banana.
