Comedians Bringing the Laughs to El Paso and We’re More Than Ready For Them
When you think about how to best describe the last two years of your life, I'm willing to bet “funny” is not the first word that immediately comes to mind.
But if how fast tickets to the upcoming Kevin Hart shows sold is any indication, El Paso is more than ready to laugh now. These last couple of years with covid have been a bit of a beat down and clearly we all need the release a good belly laugh gives us.
If watching funny guys on stage is what you need, there will be plenty of opportunities in the coming months of 2022. Comedy shows are filling up local venue calendars, and touring comedians are more than ready to bring the funny back into our lives.
And we are clearly more than ready to laugh. Here’s who is bringing the giggles, guffaws, and ha-has to El Paso in the coming weeks.
Kevin Hart Thursday, February 24, 2022 Abraham Chavez Theatre
He may be 5-foot-nothing, but he’s one of the biggest actors/comedians in the world. Two nights, four shows in El Paso. All sold out, but you can probably find tickets on the secondary market; for a pretty penny, I'm sure.
Felipe Esparza Saturday, March 5, 2022 Plaza Theatre
Known for his wild hair and the catch phrase “What‘s up fool?,“ Esparza is rolling through the Sun City again. This time "Unmasked".
Jo Koy Friday, March 4 Don Haskins Center
This is the rescheduled show from January
Jeff Dunham Sunday, April 24 Don Haskins Center
The comedian and ventriloquist is bringing his puppet buddies Bubba J, Jose the Jalapeño on a Stick, Peanut, Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Walter.
