As flu season approaches, local health authorities are urging El Pasoans to get vaccinated against the flu.

To help accomplish that end, the City of El Paso’s Department of Public Health will be offering no-cost flu shots through the month of October. Cold and flu season typically begins as early as October and can last as late as May. Peak time is generally between December and February, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The flu shots are free to anyone 4 years of age and up, and no insurance is required from anyone, according to a post on the City of El Paso Facebook. All you have to do is, prior to showing up at the location most convenient to you, print and fill out the patient questionnaire found at THIS LINK and take it with you.

The vaccination clinics will be conducted drive-thru style in order to minimize contact. There is no need to get out of your car. Free flu shots will be available at the following sites on the specific dates and times listed below. And please remember to mask up.
