City of El Paso Now Offering Low-Cost Student Programs
Now that school is back in session the City of El Paso is offering low-cost services, some of which are free to help El Paso families and students remain educationally active and entertained.
Back-to-school programs include the following:
Library Cards
Library cards are available for free to El Paso residents and allows card holders access to academic articles, homework help, practice exams, college entrance practice exams, e-books, and e-magazines.
Curriculum Programs
These programs can enhance your field trip to the zoo or can be conducted at schools by El Paso Zoo staff and support state TEKS standards.
After School Programs
Parks and Recreation Department is offering after school programs at area schools for $5 per week and at recreation centers for free.
Field Trips
The Museums and Cultural Affairs Department can coordinate field trips including the El Paso Museum of Art, El Paso Museum of History, and El Paso Museum of Archaeology.
