For decades the Junior League has kicked off the Christmas season in El Paso with their annual holiday event, A Christmas Fair. At least they did until they had to cancel their event last year because of huge dinosaurs that crushed the downtown convention center. Just kidding, we all know it was because of the COVID pandemic. That was last year, this is this year, and this year, the Junior League is once again going to hold their annual A Christmas Fair in person at the downtown convention center.

Junior League officials say they want to "bring the community together to experience the
magic of the season with our theme ‘The Sweetest Time of Year." That sounds like something we could all use for this coming holiday season. Believe it or not it is only 154 days until the 48th annual A Christmas Fair. It will kick off on November 5th and run through the 7th at the El Paso Convention Center.

As always, merchants and vendors from all over the region will be bringing their products to sell. You can get one-of-a-kind gifts and some really unique Christmas decor for your home. In addition to the fun and shopping, A Christmas Fair helps the Junior League fund their various volunteer service projects in El Paso. Personally I always love to get a new Christmas ornament every year at A Christmas Fair. I've been collecting them since my boys were little and every year when I pull them out I love telling them and now my granddaughters about when we got them and just having fun hanging them on the tree. This really is one of the events that I missed attending last year so I can't wait until November for A Christmas Fair.
