Cherry Festival in New Mexico Returns in June – See What’s in Store
June is cherry season in New Mexico, and fresh off-the-tree cherries are just a few hours driving distance from El Paso.
Get out of town and enjoy a fun daytrip with the family at Nichols Ranch and Orchards just outside Alamogordo for the 4th Annual Cherry Festival.
Father’s Day Weekend Is the (Cherry) Pits
On Father’s Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 17-18, Nichols Ranch and Orchards in La Luz, New Mexico is hosting the 2023 Nichols Ranch Cherry Festival.
The fam can enjoy the mountain views, listen to live music, have lunch at one of the food booths or food trucks, peruse the wares of arts and crafts vendors, and celebrate the more than 100-year history of picking cherries grown in the Sacramento Mountains.
3rd Annual Cherry Festival
The Nichols Ranch Cherry Festival is all about celebrating the annual cherry crop, so, naturally, it’s all things cherry: cherry pie, cherry cider, cherry jams, and baskets and baskets of just-picked cherries.
This year they’re expecting over 80 arts and crafts vendors from all over the Borderland and Southern New Mexico, as well as numerous food vendors and food trucks.
There will be activities for the kids to keep them entertained like the popular Runyan Ranch Petting Zoo.
