Check Out Video Game Music And Light Show With The El Paso Symphony Orchestra
I love video game music. It can be fun, or dark and moody, but it is always symphonic. That's why listening to a real symphony play video game music is so cool.
The El Paso Symphony Orchestra will be performing a night of video game music that will include the music from Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mario, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Skyrim, Castlevania, Halo, World of Warcraft, Pokemon. The program is called VGL, and it was created by composer Tommy Tallarico. There will be exclusive video footage and music arrangements, synchronized lighting, well-known internet solo performers, electronic percussion, live action and interactive segments.
You'll recognize the moments in each video game when the music takes you back to rescuing the princess, winning the boss fight, saving the galaxy from aliens or defeating the undead.
Get tickets for this event at the El Paso Symphony Orchestra website, epso.org, the Ticketmaster website by clicking here, or call the Symphony office at (915) 532-3776, and at the Plaza Theatre Box Office. Tickets prices are $30, $45, $60 to $75 (plus applicable service charges).
