Could you see Angelina Jolie as Cher? We can't either but it could have happened!

This year is the 20th anniversary of the cult classic film Clueless. The film had a moderately sized budget, relatively unknown actors and no idea of what a cultural phenomenon their film was about to become. Pop culture journalist Jen Chaney interview cast and crew from the movie for her new book, As If! The Oral History of Clueless as told by Amy Herckerling and the Cast and Crew. The book is set to be released July 7th, but Vanity Fair published an excerpt from the book in their new issue. In it, director Amy Heckerling revealed different A-list celebrities who tried out for the iconic roles. She also says who nailed their audition and the part was theirs, but also stars that she knew were the perfect fit for the roles.
