Chalk The Block Returns To Downtown El Paso – Check Out The Music Lineup
Chalk the Block will be taking over the streets of downtown El Paso from October 12 through 14. If you’ve never been, you are really missing out. There are art installations, food trucks, live music, tons of things for the whole family to take advantage of, and of course, there is amazing chalk art all over the streets that you can marvel at.
The Museums and Cultural Affairs Department released the list of artists and bands that you can see and hear this year. The Tijuana Panthers will be the headlining band at this year’s event. They are from Long Beach, California, and are described as a “witty, lo-fi fusion on surf, garage rock and punk.”
Some of the best local musicians and DJs will also be playing throughout the weekend. You can also check out the El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso Museum of History during the weekend. They’ll have extended hours during Chalk the Block, and will have special programs and live music in the galleries.
