Celine Dion Nails Impressions of Cher, Rihanna and Sia on ‘Jimmy Fallon’
Celine Dion: Legendary performer, iconic singer and now, expert celebrity impressionist.
On Thursday's (July 21) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Canadian pop superstar took part in a game of Wheel of Musical Impressions, where she — who herself was imitated by Ariana Grande on the same show last year — charmed the audience with a number of on-the-nose musical impersonations.
Dion first knocked an impression of her friend and industry peer Cher singing "Frére Jacques," along with a little bit of "Believe," out of the park before tackling the classic children's song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" to the tune of Rihanna's "Work" — with some mild sensual booty popping thrown in for effect.
Meanwhile, the comedian and host of the nightly talk-show didn't do too bad himself, blasting through a nasally rendition of Michael Jackson singing Drake's "One Dance," as Dion hilariously peppered the background with "Jimmy are you okay? Are you okay, Jimmy?"
Fallon then nailed a side-splitting (if not somewhat disorienting) parody of baritone country icon Johnny Cash singing "C Is For Cookie."
However, it was the Las Vegas headliner's sensational imitation of Sia singing "Hush, Little Baby" to the melody of "Chandelier" that had everyone rolling. With her tresses flipped forward to cover her face, Dion altered her vocal to an emotive rasp as she belted the Australian pop star's soaring chorus from behind an impromptu wig made of her own hair.
