The haunted car wash is coming.

The Tunnel of Terror is happening at two El Paso Tommy's Express Car Wash locations, and according to its website it’s going to scare the socks off your car.

Yeah, I don’t know what that means either. I’ve seen cars wearing a bra, but never socks.

I myself have never been through one, but as a haunted house scaredy-cat, I must say I’m intrigued by its drive-thru aspect.

Not only do you end up with a clean vehicle, but staying in your car will keep you relatively safe from killer clowns, and sopping wet serial killers.

They can come up to the passenger side window and stare menacingly all they want, but the car doors will remain locked and soon the car wash conveyor belt will pull you away to safety.

You can always come back during the day and get your seats cleaned.

Tommy’s website doesn’t adequately describe the novelty car wash experience, but going strictly by a TikTok, there’s a lot of strobe lights and red lights, Halloween-themed decorations, and employees dressed in scary costumes messing with patrons as they go through the line, car wash, and vacuum bays.

All in all, it sounds like spooky, shiny, clean fun for all.
