‘Bloody Shakespeare': UTEP Department of Theatre and Dance Presents Haunted House with a Twist
Bloody Shakespeare isn't your typical haunted house.
The UTEP Department of Theatre and Dance has a different take on the stereotypical seasonal scare.
Described by event organizers as “part haunted house, part classic theatre,” Bloody Shakespeare is a walk-through play inspired by the works of poet and playwright William Shakespeare.
Per the department's event page, the ghoulish mix of “murder, witchcraft and poetry” will take fans of the macabre on a "40-minute journey to the darkest corners of Shakespeare’s mind,” and from one grisly chamber to the next.
If you’re not big on gore, you should probably skip this Halloween event. But if you like your Halloween gruesome, then get your tickets sooner than later because several of the show times are already sold out.
Tickets are $14, $12 and $9. For more information, call the box office at 915-747-5118 or visit UTEP Department of Theatre and Dance Facebook.
