Blink-182 Cancels El Paso Postponed Concert
Blink-182 fans are going to be disappointed after Blink 182 issues statement canceling the El Paso postponed show.
The pop-punk band Blink 182 was set to perform at the Don Haskins Center on Sunday, August 4, 2019. However, the band decided to postpone the show after the Walmart shootings took place that killed 22 people and injuring 24, one day before the concert.
Turns out that the band was in El Paso when the tragedy occurred and decided to postpone the show instead. Fans were waiting on a new date to be released, instead, LiveNation issued a statement today saying:
“Blink-182's tour will now conclude in Brooklyn, New York on September 20. The August 4 show at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, TX has been canceled. All tickets can be refunded at point of purchase.”
The statement doesn’t quite make it clear as to why they chose not to return to make the date good but we do know that the concert will not be happening at all.
Fans will need to take their tickets to their point of purchase for a full refund.
