Ardovino’s Desert Crossing in Sunland Park will be hosting its annual Touch a Truck event this Saturday, Aug. 17, in conjunction with its weekly farmers market.

The 4th Annual Touch a Truck will showcase all kinds of big trucks and equipment kids can get inside of, climb on, and explore. The lineup will be a mix of cranes, ambulances, military vehicles, police cars, fire trucks, dump trucks, front loaders, cement mixers and more according to the restaurant's event post.

The close-up look at some of the biggest machines and machinery El Paso has to offer will take place at and during Farmers Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing. The weekly Saturday morning market features area farmers, backyard gardeners and artisans selling ultra-fresh produce, honey, and other fresh, small-batch foodstuffs.

Admission to Touch a Truck is free, activities are free, and the entertainment is free. Pretty much all you have to pay for is what you want to eat and drink.
