‘Aquaman’ Jason Momoa is El Paso Strong

Actor Jason Momoa is the latest high profile personality to show El Pasoans support.

Since the mass shooting, the message ‘El Paso Strong’ can be seen everywhere. On billboards, murals, and especially on t-shirts the motto has become a social media sensation. One tee in particular, the black one with the message paired with the star, has been highly visible.

Sunday (8/18), the Hawaiian-born actor best known for his titular role in the movie "Aquaman," upped the t-shirt’s profile even higher after a video of him skateboarding at the New Mexico Comic Expo in Albuquerque while wearing the popular t-shirt went viral.

The Hollywood leading man is the latest celebrity to show our city support. Last week, George Lopez and Edward James Olmos spent hours with several survivors and their families at University Medical Center. A huge mahalo to Jason Momoa for standing strong with El Paso
