Adopt A Pet At Animal Rescue League’s Adopt-A-Thon This Weekend
There is nothing better than having a pet, but instead of buying a pet, why don't you adopt one. The Animal Rescue League of El Paso is having their 3rd annual My Furry Valentine Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, February 10. There will be several rescue animals lookRing for their forever home. All dogs are adoption ready and are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and registered with the City. They also have a Go Home Kit. You can adopt your pet for just $125.
If you want to go the event but aren't interested in adopting, you can get a Valentine's Day picture of you and your pet with a professional photographer who will be on site. Dress your pet up and win some great prizes in the Snazzy Valentine Costume Contest. There will also be crafts, treats at the Nothing Bundt Cake bake sale, and even a doggy kissing booth.
Twin Peaks is getting into the action and Twin Peaks Girls will be showing off adoptable pets during a Mutt Strutt every hour during the event.
The Rescue League will also be at the Upper Valley Artist and Farmers Market on Sunday, February 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with even more pups looking for their forever homes.
