Add Your Cell And Home Phones To The National Do-Not-Call List To Avoid Calls By Telemarketers

If you think that telemarketers can’t find your cell phone number, think again. They can, and they will. If you want to make sure that they don’t call you and bug the daylights out of you while you’re working on the perfect selfie, sign up for the national Do-Not-Call list in just a couple of easy steps.

You can register both your home and wireless numbers at no cost. To add a phone number to the national Do-Not-Call list online, go to donotcall.gov. You can also call 1-888-382-1222 (voice) or 1-866-290-4236 (TTY), to add your numbers, but you have to call from the phone number you wish to register.

Telemarketers have up to 31 days from the date that you register your telephone number to remove it from their call lists and stop calling you. It’s worth doing this. I did and haven’t gotten calls from telemarketers ever since.
