Actor, Singer, Marques Houston Will Headline The 1st Ever Hip Hop Aids Event
The Hip Hop for AIDS Event will include a dance competition with awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, open mic time featuring local testimonials, highlight local solo and group entertainers from the region, and a first ever appearance in El Paso for award winning artist Marques Houston.
Houston is best known for his role as Roger Evans in the TV comedy series, Sister Sister and as a member of the R&B singing group Immature.
The event will not only raise funds but awareness and provide testing, prevention and education, food pantry, clothing closet, housing, utility services, outreach and prevention programs directly coordinated by International AIDS Empowerment.
