Acclaimed Mexican Pianist Astrid Morales in Concert at Rio Grande Theater, Aug. 28

Music forces in Las Cruces and in El Paso are proud to present Astrid Morales in concert. The internationally acclaimed Mexican pianist will be performing at the Rio Grande Theatre in downtown Las Cruces Friday, Aug. 28. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m. What makes this exquisite performance even better is that admission is free! Take out the whole family for this once-in-a-lifetime musical performance.

The Rio Grande Theatre is at 211 N. Main street in downtown Las Cruces. Astrid Morales is the winner of the 2014 General Concerto Competition of the Meadows School of Arts, and she is also a Mexican pianist who graduated from the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City. She has performed with the most important Mexican orchestras and at the most renowned venues in the United States and Canada. You can look forward to her playing music by Bach, Beethoven, Schumann and Mexican composer Ricardo Castro.
