The entire world was caught off guard on Friday night when the news of the death of actor Chadwick Boseman was announced. The 43 year old actor who starred in Marvel Studio's Black Panther as King T'Challa died after a prolonged, but secret battle with colon cancer. His family tweeted the news, and that tweet has become the most liked tweet ever.

The tribute to Chadwick Boseman will start at 6 p.m. local time on KVIA with a commercial-free airing of Black Panther and followed up with Chadwick Boseman — A Tribute for a King, a 40 minute documentary on his life and legacy, and the legacy " target="_blank">of the movie.

I have to admit, I've never seen Black Panther. I thought it was just another Marvel Studio's superhero movie and I'm not into that genre of movies. I have seen his other performances as Jackie Robinson in 42, I've seen his portrayal of James Brown in Get On Up, and his amazing work in the movie about Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall in Marshall.

Boseman was an extremely versatile actor and after he was diagnosed with colon cancer, he made seven movies in just four years. The man was undergoing painful and debilitating chemotherapy treatments and starring in critically acclaimed feature films. Even though I've never been interested in the Marvel Studio's movies, I am definitely going to watch Black Panther tonight. Chadwick Boseman's death isn't just the loss of a movie star, it is the loss of a man who showed us how to live life with grace and humility, something that isn't seen very often in Hollywood and increasingly, something that isn't seen in normal life these days.

Rest in peace Mr. Boseman.
