This Halloween, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is introducing a fun, new attraction the whole family can enjoy from the safety of their car.

Because the COVID-19 pandemic continues to force us to make changes, EPCSO will not be putting on a haunted house this year. They’ll be turning on the lights instead.

Described in the event post as a "drive-up light show” featuring “lights, music, video, animations, and your favorite spooky characters,” the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Halloween Light Show promises to be a visual treat for you and your family allowing you to celebrate the season safely.

The one-of-a-kind light show will be held nightly from Thursday, October 29 through Saturday, October 31 at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 3850 Justice Dr. The show will run continuously from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

On Halloween, the light show will be preceded by a drive-thru Trunk or Treat event. Beginning at 3 p.m., the first 300 children will receive a candy-filled basket. All kids are encouraged to wear their costumes.

What to Know Before You Go

EPCSO Halloween Light Show is free to attend. CDC guidelines on social distancing and face coverings will be enforced.
