6 Businesses on Mesa Street That Have Closed Their Doors
Has one of your favorite businesses on Mesa Street closed recently?
Whether it was a lack of interest, the on-going construction or people just weren’t frequenting these establishments – here are six businesses that have closed their doors on Mesa Street.
Nona’s (6404 N. Mesa St.) - The local pizzeria closed last year in November and we can’t help but miss their 2-for-1 pizza specials on Monday.
Circle K (7300 N Mesa St.) - The convenience store was always a good stop for gas and a Polar Pop but the corner of Belvidere and Mesa Street now sits empty.
Tosca Stone Oven Pizzeria (4017 N Mesa St.) - Here was another pizzeria that served up a quick and light lunch menu and it too has been gone since last year.
Carnita’s Queretaro (4001 N Mesa St.) - Just a few steps away from Tosca Stone Oven and Pizzeria was Carnitas Querertaro. This was our winter go-to-place because they had the most incredible Aztec Soup.
Bush’s Chicken (3435 N Mesa) - I’m not sure if the opening of Raising Cane’s a few blocks down affected the Bush’s Chicken franchise but they packed up and took Krispy Kreme donuts with them too.
Barmen Kitchen & Patio Bar (4130 N Mesa St.) - Honestly this location has not been very kind to any business that sets up shop so we are not surprised Barmen didn’t make it.
