5K Run Will Honor Late El Paso Area Teacher of the Year

The Knights 5K4PK honoring Danny Pecquet and benefitting the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation and the Danny Pecquet Scholarship Fund will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at Hanks High School.

Danny Pecquet was the Speech and Debate Team Director at Hanks High School as well as the YISD Teacher of the Year prior to losing his battle with Cancer in 2011.  The 5K/1Mile Castle Walk will start and finish in the parking lot adjacent to the campus softball field on Anise Drive.

• Team registration is $15.00 per member (minimum of 10 people)
• Individual registration is $20.00
• Registration on the day of the race will be $25.00.
• The deadline to register online through RaceAdventuresUnlimited.com is Thursday, May 5th at 5:00 p.m.
• You can also register in person at both Up and Running stores located at 3233 N. Mesa and 1475 George Deiter.
• Mail in registration must be postmarked no later than May 4th, 2016 and can be sent to 1475 George Dieter, Suite O – El Paso, TX 79936
• Please make checks payable to Race Adventures Knights 5K4PK
• Once registered, race packets can be picked up at Up and Running East on Friday, May 6th between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. or at Hanks HS on race day at 7:00 a.m.

This is an all-ages race.  A trophy for the largest team, top overall male and female finishers, and medals for the top 3 male and female finishers in each group will be provided.
