Enjoy a free holiday celebration as dozens of musicians from El Paso, Ciudad Juarez, and Las Cruces unite for the 46th annual nationwide TUBACHRISTMAS concert.

TUBACHRISTMAS was created by Harvey Phillips back in 1974 as a tribute to his teacher and mentor William J. Bell who was born on Christmas Day. Since then, the tradition has continued yearly and will take over WinterFest on Saturday, December 21, 2019, in downtown El Paso.

Over 50 tuba and euphonium players are set to gather to play a free Christmas concert performing fan-favorite Christmas melodies from Jingle Bells to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The free concert will take place in downtown El Paso between the Arts Festival Plaza and the Plaza Theatre where WinterFest is set up.

Any tuba or euphonium players who would like to join in and participate can find complete details HERE.

This family-friendly event is free and attendees can avoid all the construction and parking hassles by hopping onboard an El Paso Streetcar downtown to enjoy this free concert.
