The Wyler Tramway on Ranger Peak will be celebrating Halloween with a family-friendly event on Saturday, October 28.

The Tramway will have an exhibit on bats, and other creepy crawlers like insects, spiders, and snakes. You can learn about these animals and why some are good for us and the environment even though they creep us out.

The Tramway will also be holding their annual pumpkin carving contest during the event. You can enter your carved pumpkin and have the chance to win cool park souvenirs. Pumpkins must be brought to the park carved and ready to display on Saturday, October 28th by 11:45 a.m. Carved pumpkins will be displayed during the Tramway's Halloween Fest and visitors will vote on their favorite pumpkin. Winners will be announced at 5 p.m. on the day of the Halloween Fest. You will have to call the Tramway to register your pumpkin.

The exhibits and contest are free, but you will need to be at the top of the station so you’ll have to buy tramway tickets to go up.
