4 El Paso Bars Proudly Owned By El Paso Musicians

We love getting a drink around El Paso; some bars allow open mic nights or concerts every week. But did you know some bars are owned BY El Paso musicians?

1. The Lucky Boy Bar & Grill, 2706 N Piedras St.

The Lucky Boy is owned by Nando Gallardo. You might have seen his dancing skills on ABC's American Bandstand that you can watch HERE.

And If you're wondering what instrument Nando plays; he's a fellow drummer & singer.

2. Vincent & Melo's Crafthouse, 1691 N Zaragoza Rd, Suite 3.

While Vincent & Melo's might be new in El Paso, it's owner Jaime Candelaria, is a man who's NOT new to performing music in El Paso. Since 1999, he's played with Fixed Idea (99-09), Mexklan (2009-2012) & B Series since 2012. Currently he's in the Mexican punk band Sinbuenos with no signs of stopping in playing music, or being a bar owner.

3. The Rockhouse Dive Bar & Kitchen, 9828 Montana

A favorite concert venue in El Paso, The Rockhouse is co-owned by Matteo Martinez & Gabriel Deuce. As we know, Matteo is the frontman of the Pantera tribute band, 333.

4. Westside's 3rd Tavern & Grill, 1831 Northwestern Dr.

We all know Mathew Lynch as the amazing guitar shredder for the Pissing Razors, and has been since 1993. Matt is also the proud owner of the Westside's 3rd Tavern & Grill, which is just a short drive down from the Texas DPS. He also works as the general manger for Bourbon & Brews, 2931 George Dieter Dr.

Never Forget - Tricky Falls: Sadly Tricky is no longer with us, but we won't forget that the previous owner was Jim Ward; the very same Jim Ward from At The Drive-In & Sparta.
