Another, Yes, Another 27 Hour I-10 East Closure this Sunday

Here we go again.

A portion of I-10 east in west El Paso will require a second consecutive 27-hour closure this weekend.

Crews will be conducting work on the freeway's Eastbound median shoulder and as a result I-10 East will be closed completely between the new Sunland Park exit ramp and the Sunland Park entrance ramp from 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 until 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25.

Travelers on I-10 Eastbound will have to exit 10 at Sunland Park and use the new C.D. lanes until they can re-enter I-10 just past Sunland Park Drive at the Sunland Park I-10 entrance ramp.

Along with the 27-hour closure of I-10 Eastbound:

• The North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 East will close.

• The Resler entrance ramp to I-10 East will close
