The 16th Annual Pecan Festival is a perfect place to find local gifts just in time for Christmas.

Ramirez Pecan Farm will be hosting its annual Pecan Festival over two weekends beginning on December 7, 2019.

The annual Pecan Festival invites families to the Ramirez farm to pick fresh pecans from the orchard at $3 per pound. Attendees will also find their country store open and filled with pecans in and out of the shell as well as fresh candied pecans and Christmas gift baskets and tins.

The Ramirez Pecan Farm was once owned by Mr. And Mrs. Hajost before it was sold to Guadalupe Ramirez after retiring from the USAF. Thirteen years later, the locally owned business is run by his son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids who live and work on the pecan orchard and continue the grand tradition of their annual pecan festival.

Take the whole family out to this delightful event beginning this weekend:

  • Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Ramirez Pecan Farm is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you can’t make it out on either weekend then hit them up at the Downtown Art & Farmers market at the Union Plaza off Santa Fe Street on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
