Would-Be Robber Gets Beat Up by Store Employees

A 43-year-old guy attempted to rob a New Orleans burger joint last weekend by doing that thing where you hold something in your pocket that’s not a gun but pretend you have a gun.

Sometimes it works, and sometimes you end up getting a beat-down because the employees didn’t fall for it. Such was the case for this would-be robber.

When he tried to take cash out of the register, one of the employees grabbed a rack from the kitchen and beat him with it while the other wrestled him to the ground.

The guy was able to get loose and jump in his truck and drive off, but not before being chased by employees and getting his truck bashed with a huge flower pot.

Police found him a few hours later all cut up sitting in his truck. The suspect was taken to the hospital and bandaged up before being booked on attempted robbery charges.
