Taste of El Paso is November 12th and tickets are selling fast. To get you ready to eat some of the best food in El Paso, we'll be previewing each of the restaurants and the dish they'll be serving at the 2014 Taste of El Paso.

Stonewood Modern Grill

Stonewood, located in the TI:ME building of Montecillo on North Mesa Street, will be serving two dishes at Taste of El Paso. The first, smoked chicken wings with homemade buffalo sauce and decadent bleu cheese crumbles, will not disappoint. Smoking the wings instead of the traditional deep fry provides a unique texture and taste to the meat. The wings are less fatty, yet still very juicy. The subtle smoky flavor perfectly cuts the tangy buffalo sauce, which is made in-house. Accompanied with bleu cheese crumbles, the wings are a delicious balance of smoky, tangy, and creamy flavors.

Their second dish will be a brisket-stuffed jalapeño, wrapped in bacon, and served with homemade barbecue sauce. Each jalapeño is plumply stuffed with carefully cooked,  tender and juicy brisket. It's then wrapped in a thin layer of bacon and cooked until the bacon is crispy. The slight spice of the jalapeños is offset by the sweet, tomato-based barbecue sauce. Each pepper is easily a 3 to 4-bite treat.
