Basico Bistro and Cafe will be joining Taste of El Paso for the first time and they've prepared an incredible dish for event goers. You'll love their seared Ahi tuna tostadas, topped with picked onions, thinly sliced carrots and jalepenos, and paired with a honey soy sauce.  The Ahi tuna will melt in your mouth as the crunchy tostada balances the textures on your palate. This savory, sweet, and slightly spicy dish will be a popular item at this year's event.

Finishing off the offerings from Basico will be their deconstructed lemon meringue pie. This fun dessert will be presented in a small shooter and filled with sweet cream, a dusting of graham cracker crumbs, delicious berry compote, and a baked meringue disk on top.

Basico Bistro and Cafe is located in the Coronado Tower, next to the former KFOX location on North Mesa street. They're open for lunch and dinner and have an extended patio area.
