CAR GOES BOOM: Last Thursday 31-year-old Joseph Williamson of Seminole, Florida went outside and noticed the gas cap on his girlfriend's 1997 Saturn was open. For reasons not explained in the police report, he was worried someone had messed with the car and done something like put sugar in the tank. So he decided he’d siphon out the gas and refill the tank with new gas. But instead of using a hose like most people would, Joseph decided he was going to suck out the gas with an electric leaf blower.

Now I'm no rocket scientist - heck, I'm not even the sharpest tool in the shed - but I do know this: When you're dealing with gasoline and electricity, you have to be careful because you’re one spark away from getting blown up like Wile E. Coyote. Well, as fate would have it, a spark from the leaf blower didignite the gas tank and the car exploded. Miraculously, Joseph only suffered serious burns to his arms.
