The swallows return to Capistrano every year, heralding the return of spring in California.  Here at the Townsquare Media building, we have our very own harbinger of spring that everyone waits for every year!

Ok, so it's not a beautiful bird or a burst of flowery loveliness, but it is a sure sign that warmer weather is upon us!  For some reason, our break room sees quite a few of these nasty little creatures throughout the spring and summer even though, for the most part, it is a clean room.  Occasionally things can get a little gross in there, but you would think we have trays of food sitting out all the time for the number of roaches we see during the warm months.  This little guy is the first of the season, so I thought I'd share our springtime joy with all our listeners.

Does your workplace kitchen have visitors like ours?  How about an office kitchen nazi who yells at people for leaving things in the fridge for too long?  Have a workplace kitchen story to share?  Send it to me at tricia@ksii.com, and include pictures!
