KARDASHIAN KAOS - KIM FILES FOR DIVORCE AFTER 72 DAYS!!!: By now you've probably heard that after a 10 million dollar wedding, 72 days of marriage, and 60 days of denying they were having marital problems, KIM KARDASHIAN filed for divorce from KRIS HUMPHRIES yesterday.
Her petition -- which cites "irreconcilable differences" -- notes the pair had a prenup, and asks that Kris be denied spousal support. Details, however, will remain private until the E! airs its 3 hour divorce special this Sunday at 9pm. Hi-Yo!!!
Kim issued a brief statement about the decision, saying, "I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best." Kris, however, seems to be in denial, issuing a statement that reads, in part,""I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce ... I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

Now the world turns to speculation about the reasons for the split. From accusations of infidelity to conjecture that Kim wouldn't move to the Midwest, the reasons why seem to be running the gamut. A source close to Kim told 'People' that Kim “wanted a fairy tale” but that the couple found the pressure of reality TV to be too great. TMZ also reported that differing plans for their future added to the strain. Humphries, they say, expected Kim to settle down in Minnesota where his family lives, but Kim refused to ever leave LA.
Radar Online has one of Kim's friends blaming Kim's addiction to the spotlight. The insider says, "She is totally insecure and addicted to fame. They never should have gotten married in the first place -- she is completely self absorbed, he got caught up in the excitement but they have nothing in common."
RYAN SEACREST, who produces all the Kardashian reality drivel for E!, said, quote, "I've spoken to Kim briefly and she says she's sad and got caught up in all that was going on." It sounds to me like Kim is admitting she made a mistake, no?
THE KARDASHIAN SISTERS SHOW US THEIR TWEETS: Both KHLOE and KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN took to Twitter soon after the divorce announcement hit the Internet.
Khloe commented on the online criticism Kim has been receiving since the announcement, writing, quote, "Reading some [of] these comments are so hurtful. I'm grateful 4 our fans who understand & r being respectful. Hate is disgusting. Love is everything." Kourtney Tweeted, quote, "Our sister is going through a difficult time but we're a close family and are sticking together like always. We appreciate everyone's kindness and support."
