The YWCA El Paso del Norte Region preparing to open five new after-school locations throughout El Paso.

With the new school year starting, working parents are seeking out safe and educational after-school activities for their children and the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is making this possible by offering high-quality, convenient care for children as well as tutoring, age-appropriate arts and crafts, and physical fitness activities.

This year, the YWCA is opening five new after-school programs in Canutillo, El Paso and Socorro Independent School Districts at the following schools:

  • Burnet Elementary School
  • Dr. Sue Shook Elementary School
  • Purple Heart Elementary School
  • Schuster Elementary School
  • Silvestre and Carolina Reyes Elementary School

These YWCA after-school programs offer a safe environment for children that are supervised by qualified staff, balanced teacher to student ratios including varied activities so that every child has fun and comfortable experience.
