The YWCA Economic Empowerment Division will provide free credit counseling services to the El Paso community.

Every now and then we may find ourselves overwhelmed and in the red financially, but now help is available absolutely free, all thanks to the YWCA.

Thanks to a $30,000 grant from Chase Bank, El Pasoans can take advantage of the fact that they will have their own personal, licensed credit counselor, with whom they will meet face-to-face to discuss their individual circumstance.

According to the YWCA CEO, Dr. Sandra Braham, "The YWCA’s nationally accredited and recognized Consumer Credit Counseling Service has provided credit counseling for more than 20 years and is committed to ensuring that people make informed decisions which are in the best interest of their families."

Interested parties are encouraged to call 915.356.2227 or visit www.ywcacccs.org to set up an appointment with a YWCA counselor. Services are offered in English and Spanish and there are no special requirements to qualify.
