YISD Looking At Combining Two Pre-K Centers
If your child goes to the Robert F. Kennedy Pre-Kindergarten Center, they might be going to another school soon.
YISD offers half-day Pre-K at 13 sites around their district, but the RFK center is operating at about half capacity, and district officials say they could save a little over a million dollars if they combine that center and the Ysleta Pre-K center.
If YISD decides to combine the two centers, students who attend RFK will move to the Ysleta Pre-K center. Transportation will be provided for those students.
RFK teachers may also have to move locations, but district officials say no one will be laid off.
