WTF Do They Really Do At White Sands Missile Range?

Anyone who's lived in El Paso Texas, long enough, has heard of White Sands Missile Range. But does anyone know exactly what they do?

I know you may think I'm dumb for not knowing what they really do at White Sands MISSILE RANGE. I mean it's in the name, right? They do missile stuff.

But what does that really entail, and are they working on stuff that could be dangerous?

Aliens?

Nanotechnology?

Super-Serum For Super-Soldiers?

Probably Not.
