Wine, Dine and Have Fun in the Sun at La Viña Spring Wine Festival
If your favorite time of the day is Wine o’clock and the number you call in an emergency is wine-one-one then reserve your vino squad for the last weekend in April.
The El Paso-area winery La Viña Winery in La Union is celebrating the mostly awesome weather this time of the year offers with the aptly-named Spring Wine Festival at the end of the month.

Wine enthusiasts – you know the type; the more wine they drink, the more enthusiastic they become – will have the chance to taste the fruits of La Viña’s labor, literally and figuratively.
Soak in the sun and spend the day at the oldest winemaker in New Mexico sipping, swilling, and tasting over 20 of the vineyard's most popular wines.
What to Know If You Plan to Go
Wine and live music will take center stage at Spring Wine Festival 2023 on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30.
The Jesus Juice event, which will run from noon to 7 p.m. both days, will also feature food and crafts vendors, and live music from El Paso-area jazz and blues bands.
Adult admission to the festival is $20 and includes a souvenir glass and a choice of 5 tastes or a full glass, according to the La Vina website. The not-legally-allowed-to-drink 12-20 years of age crowd pay $10, and guests 11 and under are admitted free of charge.
La Viña Winery is located in La Union, New Mexico, on Highway 28.
