Water Outage in Las Cruces Coming Up – Find Out Where and When

A scheduled water outage will be coming to Las Cruces the beginning of 2017, will you be affected? Find out where and when.

Tortugas Drive and Tile Avenue will experience a water outage between 9 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, January 4^th. The affected areas will be Tortugas Drive between Eugenio Street and Paroquia Street and Tile Avenue between the north end and San Francisco Street.

When it is turned back on, you may notice discolored water due to iron, manganese and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, the City recommends waiting to wash laundry until after the water becomes clear. If the discoloration doesn’t go away within 24 hours, call Las Cruces Utilities Dispatch at 526-0500.
