Watch Cielo Vista Mall Fireworks Scare Video

93.1 KISS-FM has obtained video showing two males setting off what KFOX14 reports police described as an artillery canister shell fireworks inside of the Cielo Vista Mall.

The incident, which happened at 3 p.m. Saturday (7/8) outside the woman’s Dillard’s, was filmed and uploaded to several social media platforms on Tuesday (7/11). It’s not clear if the person whose Instagram account hosts the clip above was involved.

The 12 second recording shows two young adults setting off the fireworks near one of the mall fountains then running off in opposite directions.

According to KFOX14, the explosion broke several ceiling windows causing $500 in damage. As of this posting, no arrests have been made.

The news station reports if one is made, they will be charged with criminal mischief.
