Washington Couple Still Hoping to Find Oso Somewhere in El Paso
Since July 2nd, 2021 Oso the 126 lb Great Pyrenees neutered mutt has been missing. The owners have shared the story with many local media outlets, as poor Oso was lost in the middle of a trip to their new home.
The family was moving from Missouri to Washington but hired a dog transporter to help move their dog. Unfortunately, Oso escaped while the transporter was parked at a Love's gas station in Horizon City, Texas.
Many El Pasoans have stepped up to try to help find Oso with signs and searches for the dog. Sadly, he still hasn't been found.
On August 23rd, 2021 the Bring Oso Home Facebook page shared some hope of an Oso sighting from a reliable source.
As you can see in the video above, something is running around the hills and we can only hope it is Oso. Some comments are mentioning they think it is a deer, but it does seem like a dog. He was lost in the area truck stop area right off of Horizon, specifically Love's.
I live in Horizon and I have looked around for Oso. I drive by a dog that looked like Oso but it ended up just being a neighbor's golden retriever. I could tell since their dog didn't have the same ears and face. I was just really hoping to finally bring some relief to the worried family, but we all can't let that blur our image of Oso.
If you or anyone you know lives in El Paso and wanted to help bring back Oso, please share his story. If you have any tips or find Oso please can contact 915-308-4005.
