After a few legal and financial woes and a one year hiatus, Viva! El Paso officially returns to the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre on June 19, 2015.

The outdoor extravaganza, which chronicles the 400 year history and cultural evolution of El Paso and the region, has delighted locals and tourists alike for over three decades with its colorful costumes and entertaining dance numbers. And while some changes have been made, Bryan Crowe, general manager of Destination El Paso, said the show would keep its most popular elements. “It will be refreshed,” he told The El Paso Times in a recent interview, but stressed the rebooted version would be keeping “the classic we all know and love.”

Viva! El Paso will be performed each Friday and Saturday from June 19 to August 8. Tickets are $10 - $14 plus fees and can be purchased at the Plaza Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or online at Ticketmaster.com. Showtime is 8:30 p.m.
