Vidal Sassoon Dead At 84

Hairstylists everywhere put down their scissors when the news of the death of Vidal Sassoon hit this week.

Sassoon was the hair care industry giant was the genius who took women out from under curlers and bouffant hairdo's, and into what used to be called 'wash and wear' hair.

In the 80's, his famous slogan, "If you don't look good, we don't look good!", was all over the commercials for his haircare line.  Here are some of the best of those commercials, and an explanation why the 80's was the era of Big Hair!
