The annual production of The Vagina Monologues continues in El Paso beginning on February 14, 2020.

V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against all women and young girls and serves as a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, and female genital mutilation (FGM), and sex slavery.

This year the VDay event which is produced by Star on the Mountain Production Company will shine a spotlight on the atrocities at our border, from femicides in Ciudad Juarez, including the crisis involving migrants and asylum seekers. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit two El Paso non-profit organizations including The Borderland Rainbow Center and Frontera Water Protection Alliance.

The Vagina Monologues will have two separate performances at Mount Hope Lutheran beginning with a preshow at 7 p.m., featuring local dancers and poets.
