The 2016 Movies on the Lawn series concludes this week with the latest episode in the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The 7th film in the series (or is it the 4th? I'm so confused!) will be screened on an 18-foot inflatable screen this Friday, June 24, on a college campus not all that far, far away (UTEP's Centennial Plaza).

Although the movie starts at approximately 8:30 p.m., the force is strong in this one so I'd get there early if I were you. And you don’t have to be a UTEP student (or a Jedi Knight) to attend; Movies on the Lawn is free and open to the public.

Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed; alcohol, glass, and pets, including Wookies, are not. $5 Combo, which includes popcorn, soda, hot dog, and other concessions available.

Free parking is available in the UTEP Sun Bowl Parking garage. Millennium Falcons and other spacecraft in the upper level only.

If you need more details or have any questions, hit up the UTEP Office of Student Life Facebook page, Padawan, because I'm out of Star Wars references.
