Summer time means camp time for many local kids and if your child is into animals and nature then the El Paso Zoo’s Summer camp is the place for them to not only release their wild side, but to learn new and exciting things as well.

Registration for the El Paso Zoo Society Camp is now open. Parents can sign up their children, ages 6-10 for the unique and educational Summer camp where kids will learn about the important role they play in protecting our environment and the animals we share this planet with.

Through a combination of conservation-based lesson plans, exclusive animal experiences, behind the scene tours, and hands-on activities, campers will leave Zoo Camp passionate and empowered, assured in the impact they can make to preserve wildlife,” said Zoo officials.

Children will get to spend their days outdoors and experience a variety of activities that will teach them to love nature and animals probably more than they already do!

Zoo officials encourage parents to sign up their children for Zoo camp before spots get filled. The cost of each session is $190 per child (Non-Members) and $175 per child (Members).

Sessions are five days in length, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There are 20 spots available per week.
