Truck on Razor Thin Plank Defies Science to Board Boat
“Car boarding a ship over a plank” doesn’t sound very interesting to watch, but, oh, it most definitely is.
In this video that takes place on an unidentified dock, a truck crosses a thin plank in order to get on a boat. It's even more dramatic than a pirate making a prisoner walk the plank.
This particular plank has a “bend don’t break” thing going for it because, while it looks like it will snap like a twig, it somehow proves it’s sturdier than it appears and winds up holding the weight of the truck, causing everyone watching to exhale.
Of course, you get the feeling that the plank endured so much stress that after this video, if you put a penny on the plank, the whole thing would probably just collapse right into the water -- right alongside the pirate's prisoner.
