This Weekend: Feast in the Middle East

The 46th annual May dinner and festival, a.k.a Feast in the Middle East, is this Saturday and Sunday at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church on the West Side. As always, all your favorite authentic Middle Eastern food -- from gyros to Baklava  to the crowd pleasing bake table --  will be available.  Adding to the authenticity of the event will be the always entertaining to watch belly dancers and live Arabic music scheduled throughout the weekend. Opa!

Admission is $2; children 9 and under get in free. Hours are noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. You'll find more details  here, and driving directions here.
