‘The Last Jedi’ is UTEP Friday Night Flick
UTEP's Friday Night Flick movie series continues this Friday, March 9, with a low-priced screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The sequel (Prequel? Spin off? I'm so confused!) will be shown in place of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which they are unable to screen due to some kind of licensing issue.
The force is strong in this one so even though the movie starts at 6:30 p.m. I'd get there at 6 when the doors open if I were you. And you don’t have to be a UTEP student or a Jedi Knight to attend; Friday Night Flick is open to the public.
Tickets are $2 for UTEP students, faculty, staff and alumni (with valid Miner Gold card), $3 for the rest of us and can be purchased at any UTEP Ticket Center location.
So dust off your light saber, gas up your Millennium Falcon and ready your nerdy self to make your way to a college campus not all that far, far away because as Yoda would say, "Do. Or do not. There is no try."
Movie Time
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the movie starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the Union Cinema, located on the first floor of UTEP’s Union Building East.
Concessions
Soft drinks and snacks will be available at the concession stand for a few bucks, including a $5 hotdog, popcorn and drink Movie Combo. Outside food and drink is not allowed.

If you need more details or have any questions, hit up the UTEP Office of Student Life Facebook page, Padawan, because I'm out of Star Wars references.
